WHAT I EAT IN THE MORNING FOR A HEALTHY LEAN BODY
For the past week and a half, I have been on a new eating regimen that has been helping me lose weight and get lean. When I started this new eating style, I was 130lbs, and today I am 125lbs. I don’t like to use the word diet because I feel there is a lot of negativity associated it. I think when you say “diet” it makes you feel like you have to eat less. Instead of eating less food I have been eating healthy food, and it’s been working tremendously for me.
- 1 Glass of water
- 1 Cup of green tea with lemon
- 2 Hard boiled eggs
- 1 Granola bar
- 1 Cup of kombucha
Drink Water First Thing In The Morning
I drink a big glass of water first thing in the morning. I feel this helps to wake my body up and get everything moving.
Hot Green Tea With Lemon
Then I make myself a hot green tea with a bit of lemon. The green tea helps to boost your metabolism while the lemon works as a detoxifier.
2 Hard Boiled Eggs
The eggs help to leave me feeling fuller longer. Plus, they are packed full of healthy fats and omega 3’s. Remember, fats don’t make you fat, sugar makes you fat.
1 Granola Bar
The granola bar has whole grains and fiber which will help to clean out your system. I like the Kind Health Granola Bars. Eventually, I would like to make my own granola bars from scratch. But for now, I am satisfied with the Kind brand.
Lastly, I drink a cup of Kombucha. Kombucha has a ton of probiotics and helps your digestion. If I am still hungry after breakfast, I will grab some almonds or a banana before heading off to work.
By just doing these simple things in the morning I can feel a difference in my body as I am getting leaner and healthier. Like I said I started this new morning regimen two weeks ago and I’ve already lost 5 pounds, so maybe it can work for you too 🙂
